Established in the early 1940s, in a short time LCT S.p.a. has affirmed its status as one of the main Italian carriers. In recent years, the Company has chosen to incorporate the experience it has gained in shipping with a specialisation in logistics, the transport of foodstuffs and dangerous goods and intermodal transport, to provide customers with a complete and customised service to meet their individual needs.
From its headquarters in Catania, in the heart of the Sicilian manufacturing fabric, 120 lines depart daily to our Indirect Distribution Centres, which, added to the interline freight system with departure from our branches and correspondents, guarantee extensive coverage across the country. Thanks to partnerships with major foreign carriers and Grimaldi Lines, our international service also includes regular departures to terminal destinations in Europe. To ensure the highest efficiency and timeliness, LCT S.p.a. has a constantly updated digital system that guarantees direct links with the business units and with customers, and that allows us to manage shipments with the aid of technologically advanced tools.

In 2009, the Company was certified according to standard UNI EN ISO 9002:1994 (updated after the 2000 Edition), while simultaneously extending its range of services to include international transportation. The branch in Palermo covers 5,000 m², of which 1,500 m ² indoors, to handle our distribution logistics in western Sicily.
